The DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro

The semi-ruggedized DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro Industrial Notebook is the new top notch Notebook of the Acturion S-Series. The DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro, like its brothers, is protected by a special magnesium alloy housing and survives tasks where a normal business notebook would fail. Still being a standard in industrial applications, the DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro is equipped with a PCMCIA type II port.

Weighing 2.8kg only with the standard battery (DURIOS S14M Pro) or 3.0kg (DURIOS S14MT Pro ), the DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro does not outweigh standard business notebooks. With its IP31 protection class and the MIL-STD 810F certification, the DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro is also fit for working in a harsh environment. Thanks to the Anti Glare technology, the 14.1 Inch display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels can be well viewed in all conditions of surrounding brightness. A built in LED in the display which illuminates the keyboard makes it possible to work in total darkness.

Inside of the DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro, a Dual Core or a Core 2 Duo Intel CPU provides enough power for any application you can imagine. The Intel GM45 chipset with 358MB of shared memory provides sufficient performance for 3D-applications. Being first one in the DURIOS S-Series, the DURIOS S14M/ MT Pro features a HDMI out port for external monitors or HD ready LCD TVs. It is also the first S-Series notebook with a touch screen option.
