Full-Ruggedized Convertible Tablet-PC

The DURIOS V10 and V12 Ultra Convertible is the ideal conjunction between an Industrial Tablet PC and an Industrial Notebook. The DURIOS V-Series is a Tablet PC and a Notebook in one unit. It can be used as Notebook and as Tablet PC just by twisting the display by 180° and then pressing it down.

Two base models are available, the DURIOS V10 Ultra Convertible with a 10.4" XGA TFT display and the DURIOS V12 Ultra Convertible with a WXGA wide screen TFT display. Both Convertibles can be ordered with standard or sunlight readable display. The standard units have a touch screen, the DURIOS V10 Ultra Convertible can also be ordered with a digitizer then Windows XP Tablet Edition is installed.

The DURIOS V-Series Convertibles belong to the full ruggedized Ultra class. The hermetically sealed metal housing is spill water proof and dust proof. Even though the housing is made of metal the weight of the DURIOS V-Series Ultra Convertibles stay at a pleasant level of 4.8lbs only. Acturion started selling the DURIOS V-Series in summer 2007. From the beginning the Convertibles of the DURIOS V-Series established themselves as a top seller. Universal and ultra mobile use, ruggedness and the very attractive price are the key features for this success.

Full ruggedized Industrial Convertible PC with light alloy metal housing, no fan inside, completely sealed. Intel Core Duo processor SU9400 with 1.4GHz clock rate, chipset Intel 945GMS. HDD 2.5" SATA starting at 160GB upgradeable to 320GB, RAM from 1GB upgradeable to 4GB. Gigabit LAN, modem RJ11, USB 2.0, RS232, VGA, SD Card reader, PCMCIA, WLAN 3945 a/b/g, Bluetooth, 1.3MP CCD camera. Also available as option integrated HSDPA modem and GPS receiver. Standard and sunlight readable displays with touch screen available optional with digitizer.
